Afghan Women’s Literacy Program Launched
On the occasion of International Literacy Day, September 8, the Afghanistan Peace International Studies Association (APISA) has launched the Afghan Women’s Literacy Program.
The initiative aims to strengthen literacy skills, expand educational opportunities, and empower women through access to learning. We believe that literacy is more than the ability to read and write—it is a foundation for greater awareness, confidence, participation, and opportunity.
Through this initiative, APISA seeks to contribute to a more informed, empowered, and peaceful society where women can pursue their potential and play a meaningful role in their communities.
Literacy is a step toward empowerment and a brighter future.
