The third session of the “Peace Begins Within” educational program, organized by the Afghanistan Peace International Studies Association (APISA), was successfully held in Kabul on June 12, 2026 (22 Jawza 1405).
This session focused on Mental Health and Managing Emotional Stress, highlighting the importance of psychological well-being, emotional resilience, and practical strategies for maintaining mental balance in everyday life.
During the session, participants explored key concepts related to mental health, self-care, emotional awareness, stress management, and healthy coping mechanisms. Through interactive discussions, attendees exchanged perspectives, shared experiences, and reflected on effective approaches to dealing with psychological challenges in a rapidly changing environment.
The program also emphasized the importance of self-awareness, empathy, mutual support, and the creation of safe spaces for dialogue and personal growth. Participants discussed the role of mental well-being in improving quality of life and contributing to more peaceful and resilient communities.
