Kabul, Afghanistan – June 19, 2026 (29 Jawza 1405)

The fourth and final session of the “Peace Begins Within” educational program, organized by the Afghanistan Peace International Studies Association (APISA), was successfully held in Kabul on June 19, 2026 (29 Jawza 1405), marking the conclusion of this four-session educational initiative.

This concluding session focused on Resilience, Hope, and Inner Peace, emphasizing the importance of developing inner strength, maintaining hope during challenging circumstances, and fostering emotional balance as essential foundations for personal wellbeing and peaceful living.

During the session, participants explored practical approaches to building resilience, overcoming adversity, strengthening self-confidence, and cultivating inner peace in their daily lives. Through interactive discussions, reflective activities, and the exchange of personal experiences, they learned how hope, optimism, and emotional resilience can empower individuals to navigate challenges and contribute positively to their families and communities.

The session also provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the four-session program. Discussions highlighted the importance of self-awareness, emotional management, resilience, and continuous personal growth as key elements in promoting a culture of peace and wellbeing.

To recognize the participants’ commitment and encourage their continued personal development, APISA presented appreciation gifts to all participants at the conclusion of the program. The gifts were intended to reinforce hope, motivation, and the values promoted throughout the “Peace Begins Within” educational initiative, while encouraging participants to continue applying these lessons in their daily lives.

“Peace Begins Within” is an educational initiative designed to promote mental wellbeing, self-confidence, personal development, and a culture of peace among Afghan girls and women. Through education, dialogue, and empowerment, the program seeks to strengthen individual resilience and encourage positive social change.

The successful completion of this four-session educational initiative reflects APISA’s continued commitment to advancing peace education, community empowerment, and human development through innovative educational and capacity-building programs. The Association extends its sincere appreciation to the facilitator, participants, and everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of this initiative and looks forward to expanding similar educational programs in the future.
